Job Description

ENSCO Avionics is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer. You will be part of the formal verification test team. Your responsibilities will include completing configuration checkout/test of boards, write verification test cases and procedures for these boards, and execute test cases and procedures along with a technician.

Qualifications Desired

  • Familiarity with Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio
  • Familiarity with Texas Instruments' SM320F28335
  • Familiarity with ARINC 429
  • Familiarity with IC, SPI, and JTAG
  • Familiarity with motor controls
  • Familiarity with Permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSMs) and Brushless DC machines (BLDCs)


Qualifications Required (Skills)

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent
  • 10+ years working with embedded systems consisting of analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • 5+ years working with 270VDC+ motor drive bridges.
  • 10+ years working with isolated motor drives
  • 10+ years working with galvanically isolated feedback/control systems
  • Familiarity with formal aspects of design per DO-254 guidance.
  • 5+ years of Altium experience for generation and maintenance of ECAD files (schematic, board design, component management) Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to quality
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
