Virtual SC Speech-Language Pathologist - Part or Full Time
Position Type: Hourly, Contracted
Pay: $47.70-$54.30/Hour
Serve students as a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential therapy services remotely. You'll work with a dynamic team, developing individualized plans that support communication growth and academic success in a school-based setting.

Serve students as a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential therapy services remotely. You'll work with a dynamic team, developing individualized plans that support communication growth and academic success in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address student needs, regularly updating them based on progress.
- Deliver one-on-one and group teletherapy sessions to students using a secure and approved online platform.
- Collaborate with other professionals (teachers, administrators, etc) and family members to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and ensure all treatments meet standards.
- Engage in regular consultations with families, providing resources and strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress outside sessions.
- Stay current with the latest practices and innovations in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.
- Education & Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active SLP license in the relevant state(s) for telepractice.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of school based experience, preferably with teletherapy experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with teletherapy platforms such as Zoom and basic troubleshooting of virtual tools.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with children and their families remotely.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a caseload independently.
- Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
