JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Doctorate (MD or DO) required.
- Must have successfully completed an accredited residency program.
- Must have completed an accredited fellowship program, if applicable.
Certification and Licensures:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery, required. Medical license in the State of MO.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.
- Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
Responsibilities:
- Call coverage: 1:5 at one hospital
- Flexible Clinic/OR schedule
- Clinic attached to the hospital
- Access to two da Vinci Xi robotic systems
- Dedicated surgical team with first assistants and OR rooms
- 24/7 support from Trauma APPs
- Strong Hospitalist and Intensivist teams with a 20-bed open floor ICU
- EMR: EPIC
