Circle Pharma is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations to drive strategic communications and build strong relationships with both the investor community and the public. This critical leadership role will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to craft and deliver clear, consistent messaging on Circle's financial health, strategic initiatives, and innovative pipeline. As the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders, the VP will oversee the development and execution of an integrated strategy that balances corporate communications and investor relations to enhance Circle's visibility, foster investor confidence, and support broader business objectives.
The successful candidate will possess both strategic insight and hands-on execution capabilities, ensuring that our messaging resonates with the scientific community, investors, analysts, media and the general public.
This role requires regular on-site presence and will be based at Circle's South San Francisco, CA location.

The anticipated salary range for this Vice President role based in South San Francisco, CA, is between $272,000 - $320,000. The final compensation offered to a selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, industry expertise, education, and Circle's internal equity. This compensation and benefits information is based on Circle's good faith estimate as of the date of posting and may be modified in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Communications Strategy: Develop and lead a cohesive communications strategy that combines corporate communications and investor relations, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all external channels (press releases, ESG reports, website, social media), in alignment with Circle's vision and strategic goals.
- Leadership Collaboration: Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to ensure alignment of external communications with corporate strategy and market positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Circle's internal teams (Clinical Development, Research, G&A) to optimize workflows and implement best practices that enhance efficiency and scalability of communications.
- Media Outreach and Corporate Branding: Oversee Circle's media relations, positioning leadership as thought leaders, and ensuring the company is well-represented across key media and industry channels.
- Investor Relations Strategy: Design and execute an IR strategy that effectively communicates financial performance, scientific advancements, and long-term vision to investors, analysts, and the financial community.
- Primary Investor Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial media, fostering transparent, strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Board and Executive Communication: Provide the leadership team and the Board with key insights from investor feedback and market trends to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to refine messaging and inform strategic decisions.
- Strategic Targeting and Relationship Management: Drive efforts to grow and diversify the investor base while strengthening relationships with current investors, ensuring ongoing engagement and confidence.
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or strategic communications, with a focus on the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with pre-commercial or early-stage biotech companies is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the biopharma landscape across both large and small companies, with strong scientific acumen; oncology experience is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, craft compelling narratives, and lead initiatives from concept through successful execution.
- Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with senior executives and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong leadership presence and the ability to influence key decisions at the highest levels.
- A well-established reputation within the biopharma community, with a demonstrated capacity to build and sustain strategic relationships that drive impactful outcomes.
- A proactive, hands-on communicator who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to pivot quickly and respond to the needs of the company and the investor community.
- Able to navigate and lead in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining focus on key priorities.
