The Cardiology Lead serves as a health-care provider who specializes in diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with any suspected or known heart diseases. The Cardiology Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Cardiology Lead specializes in diseases of the heart and blood vessels and is the Cardiology program leader, and part of a clinical care team that focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention for senior patients. The Cardiology Lead manages complex cardiac conditions such as abnormal heartbeat rhythms, and congestive heart failure, as well as provides preventative techniques for dealing with potential heart-related illnesses. The Cardiology Lead spends approximately 80% of their time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care, and approximately 20% of their time leading the Program. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

2 or more years of project leadership experience
Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in cardiovascular disease
Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in echocardiography

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$327,700 - $450,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
