Summary
The Great Lakes Water Authority is looking for a Professional Administrative Analyst to provide and support the Wastewater Engineering Group in the preparation, organization, and execution of various contract modifications by processing necessary contract modification documents through the requisition process and software. This individual will handle key administrative tasks related to PowerBI, Microsoft Office, data analysis, and interdepartmental communications with human resources (organizational development), finance, and other operational groups. We are looking for a team-oriented, innovative, hardworking individual to provide a full range of administrative support to the Director of Engineering

Job Responsibilities
- Create Reports and presentations synthesizing engineering information to inform other departments and our Board of Directors about accomplishments in projects and our coordination
- Streamline/interface with our financial information system, maintenance system, and GLWA Board for advancing engineering projects and work
- Assist Project Managers with various administrative tasks necessary to ensure proper delivery and execution of the wastewater capital improvement plan.
- Communicate effectively and frequently with team members and other groups across the organization
- Learn basic Geographical Information Systems
- Work effectively with minimal supervision
- Complete specialized, technical assignments
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Demonstrate proficiency in written communication
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Communicate effectively and frequently with team members and other groups across the organization
- Effectively utilize appropriate security and safety equipment and procedures
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Develop proficiency in group specific operations and software
- Direct team activities or to work as a team member
Required Education and Experience
At that time of application:
- Bachelor's degree: with specialization in Business Administration preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience related to the field and/or job assignment
- Education requirement can be substituted with extensive experience, at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer or designee

- Software: Microsoft Office, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, pivot tables, ArcGIS
