Your new role
Drive the implementation of our global learning and capability strategy, ensuring inclusive, impactful learning experiences that build future-focused skills (especially in AI, sales, and continuous improvement), enhance performance, and support career progression. Oversee LMS operations, learning analytics, and contribute to embedding a culture of continuous learning and curiosity across Digital Science. Support internal mobility, leadership pipeline development, and employee engagement through strategic and operational learning interventions tailored to the needs of a growing, global workforce.

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will be part of our dynamic, capable, fun and growing global People Team.

We have grown rapidly to 700 employees, primarily through acquisition, and we are continuing our high growth journey. To operate successfully and have impact here you will need to meet the organisation, culture and leaders where they are now in order to get us where we need to be. This involves taking a pragmatic and tactical approach to implementation. We are looking for agility, flexibility and pragmatism as well as a consistent focus on the end goals.

What you'll be doing

Strategy & Planning
  • Implement company-wide L&D strategy aligned with future skill needs and business growth.
  • Conduct regular learning needs analyses, with a focus on AI and future capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a global skills taxonomy and capability framework to guide development planning and role-based learning pathways.
  • Embed L&D into broader talent and workforce planning strategies to support business growth and agility.


Learning Design & Delivery
  • Partner with business leaders and People Partners to create tailored, scalable learning pathways for roles, job families, and career stages.
  • Continuously improve and evolve core programmes (e.g. onboarding, sales effectiveness, line manager development, induction).
  • Ensure learning programmes are localised and adapted for global/regional requirements and compliance.
  • Promote employee engagement by designing experiences that connect personal growth to business performance.

Learning Technology & LMS
  • Lead LMS implementation, configuration, content curation, and reporting.
  • Build structured, self-service learning pathways and support timely, trackable mandatory training.
  • Develop and maintain governance processes for managing, reviewing and retiring learning content and programmes.

Leadership Development & Talent
  • Support design and delivery of leadership development programmes (e.g. MDP, Accelerate) and emerging leader pipelines.
  • Connect learning to career mobility and internal talent development opportunities.
  • Ensure development frameworks support progression, performance, and retention aligned to business and organisational goals.

Data & Evaluation
  • Track and evaluate programme effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Regularly report on engagement, completion, and ROI of learning programmes.
  • Use analytics to inform content decisions, capability gaps, and organisational learning impact.

Culture & Activation
  • Promote a continuous learning culture by embedding rituals (e.g. peer-led sessions, learning days, cross-functional showcases).
  • Activate internal communities of practice and learning champions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and benchmark efforts against global best practices.
  • Bring in fresh ideas and inspiration from external sources.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner closely with People Partners, Strategic Partners, DEI, AI leads, and business leaders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. Legal, Compliance, IT, Product) to align learning initiatives to regulatory, technical, and strategic needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead procurement of new learning solutions.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Regularly identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and programme quality.
  • Be curious and committed to exploring innovative ideas to meet evolving business needs.

Curiosity and External Focus
  • Stay current with industry trends and benchmark our efforts against global best practices. Bring in fresh ideas from external sources, always consider different approaches
