Job Description
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking an innovative individual with strong strategic and analytical skills to fill the role of Strategic Technologies Project Manager. This role involves identifying key data requirements, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and presenting findings to support the Division's objectives in transportation electrification, road usage charge, and tolling programs.

- Develop strategies to ensure projects align with business goals and best practices.
- Identify and determine data needs for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights and recommend improvements.
- Create and present visual data reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate communication between UDOT and other agencies to align efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- At least four (4) years of related experience in project management, strategic planning, or data analysis.
Preferences
Preference may be given to those with at least one of the following:
- Experience in developing strategic documents and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience creating and presenting visual data reports for stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
