The Senior Consultant, Business Architecture works with leaders and their teams across the group of companies to develop strategies, target operating models, and roadmaps that align functional dependencies and business outcomes across enterprise programs. Through effective facilitation, the Senior Consultant will enable leaders and their teams to develop a deep understanding of current and target state roadmaps and create actionable prioritization and alignment. This role will support the establishment and evolution of an engaged community of practice in business architecture.

This role is a member of the Business Architecture and Transformation team that has an overall mandate to support enterprise transformation programs and initiatives. Knowledge and/or background in LEAN and other process improvement methodologies would be helpful in partnership with our team and with our business partners.

How you will create impact:

  • Drive the build of the enterprise business architecture function, developing business architecture strategies, target operating models and business capability roadmaps at the enterprise level.
  • Identify and document prioritization of business capabilities at the enterprise level and document recommended changes and conclusions.
  • Identify and socialize the alignment of business strategy to supporting services and capabilities (people, process, and technology).
  • Engage Senior Leaders in supporting and driving the necessary changes as required.
  • Work with Senior Leaders to identify, define and develop approaches that leverage business architecture methodology to better align strategy with execution in their lines of business.

  • Document and communicate complex ideas, anticipating potential objections and working to persuade others to adopt a different point of view based on findings and conclusions

  • Leverage a continuous improvement mindset and toolkit with the development of recommendations
  • Provide leadership, coaching and consultation to our business partners and subject matter experts on Business Architecture best practices.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business leaders for decision making and or setting direction.

To join our team:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration or an MBA. Having a business architecture certification would be an asset.
  • You have 6-9 years experience working in the Financial Services or Consulting industry.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Business Architecture and Operational Excellence Methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in LEAN and/or other Process Improvement Methodologies.
  • Experienced in Enterprise Transformation Methodologies.
  • Highly skilled critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in end-to-end Business Consultation (which contemplates significant organizational change).
  • Highly skilled and experienced in professional and sensitive Business Communications and executive presentations.
