We are seeking a talented Senior or Lead Unity Developer to join our dynamic team and support development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for game development and expertise in 2D game design, specifically targeting iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and high-quality learning/gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement 2D games using Unity for iOS and Android platforms
- Collaborate with artists and designers to create intuitive and visually appealing UI elements
- Optimize game performance and troubleshoot issues across different mobile devices
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices and version control
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile game development and propose innovative ideas for new features
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field
- 10+ years of experience as a Game Developer with a focus on Unity/C# development
- Experience writing customer-facing code
- Strong skills in Unity 2D and Unity UI
- Experience developing games for native iOS/Android deployment
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a team
- Experience or interest working in education
