ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Director of Sales is responsible for driving VoterX's sales division. In addition to prospecting, qualifying, and onboarding new clients, including political organizations, government agencies, and advocacy-driven brands, the Director of Sales will work with senior leadership to further develop and implement political ad sales strategies team-wide. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive experience in programmatic ad sales and a strong track record managing campaigns for candidates, ballot measures, social advocacy, and government-funded initiatives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Navigate full sales cycle from prospect to close
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term success
  • Work with internal teams to build custom plans the exceed client expectations
  • Further develop company's political campaign approach and spearhead adoption throughout the organization

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree - Communications, Journalism, Business, Political Science preferred
  • 10+ years in digital ad sales, 5+ years in programmatic ad sales
  • Extensive industry relationships with an emphasis on political clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven success in completing full sales cycle
  • Ability to work independently
