Overview
We're seeking a dynamic Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead process improvement, production support, and team development in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, this role oversees teams in Manufacturing Process, Test, and Repair, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve factory yield, productivity, and capacity.
- Champion continuous improvement and implement Lean manufacturing practices.
- Drive manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and localization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee capital projects and the integration of new technologies.
- Standardize processes, documentation, and change management structures.
- Manage troubleshooting and resolution of test failures and quality issues.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in electronics manufacturing and test (mid-to-high volume).
- Proven leadership in engineering support and operations project management.
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
- Expertise in circuit board assembly and test methodologies.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (certification preferred).
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with gas detection, radio technologies, and data analysis is an asset.
