About the Team
The Project Manager - Protection Systems is responsible for program leadership and management of a cross-functional team to ensure the successful manufacturing, integration and delivery of RDA Protection Systems products and services to programs within Australia.
About the Role
As the Project Manager - Protection Systems you are responsible for the delivery of critical armour and protection systems on all programs including LAND 400 Phase 2 and Heavy Weapons Carrier program. The role includes the on-going planning and management of project deliverables across a number of projects. Leading a cross-functional team you will manage the collection, maintenance and reporting of project metrics, the management of project budget and quarterly financials, work scope estimation, scheduling, resources, and progress reporting. Reporting to the Program Director - Weapons, Ammunition and Protection you have full accountability for the design team scope, production and quality assurance of these critical project deliverables.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering or PM discipline;
- Demonstrated project and financial management experience;
- Demonstrated experience with an engineering development program deliverables and management of program documentation;
- Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance - NV1 (Australian Citizenship required).
