The Supply Chain Coordinator is the point-of-contact person for the Project Team regarding all supply chain issues. The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating the supply for their assigned projects. The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely together with the project planner to define a realistic and committed supply plan for the project, and then helps to coordinate and support all functions within the Supply Chain Center (supply engineering, procurement, shipping, etc.) to execute the plan, while not assuming the responsibilities for these functions. Responsible for managing purchased material requirements and taking appropriate actions to ensure material availability when needed, with appropriate inventory levels. Includes development and maintenance of planning data with MRP, order release process and coordination with buyers on capacity. Collaborate with Buyer and STE on ordering technique and communication of shortage as well as coordination with Manufacturing Production Scheduler on demand and status. Focal point for purchased material commitments, follow up with supplier deliveries, and schedule changes. Investigate schedule delays, establish and communicate revised schedules. These positions are responsible for day-to-day and strategic supplier management including, but not limited to: placing purchase orders, follow-up, and resolving issues; communicating demand and forecasts; managing supplier relationships and performance; communicating and mitigating risk that could impact Solar's ability to meet the business plan.
The position is responsible/accountable for:
Analyzing demand for assigned parts and ensuring a balanced level of supply to meet the demand
Accurate, timely and proactive communication of material supply status to internal customer
Collaborating with business partners in Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to reduce disruptions to material flow and ensure material availability to support production requirements.
Supporting U.S. customers
Additional responsibilities include:
Analyzing of inventory levels and turnover for assigned parts
Review, analyze, and disposition of excess, slow-moving or obsolete inventory for assigned parts
Item Data Maintenance
Participation in continuous improvement projects to improve material availability, reduce lead times and promote increased inventory turnover
Minimum qualifications:
Solid knowledge of Material and Production Planning fundamentals
Strong demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel including working knowledge of functions, formulas and pivot tables) are required
Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of relevant supply chain management, production/material planning or inventory planning/analysis experience is required
Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally, across multiple platforms.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Bilingual
Strong teaming skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Ability to troubleshoot, think logically through processes, determine issues for resolution, communicate options effectively as needed, and bring issues to close.
Preferred qualifications:
6 Sigma/CPS Green or Black Belt completed training or experience
ERP experience with BAAN or Infor LN
APICS certification
Bachelor's degree in related fields: Supply Chain Management, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics

Summary Pay Range:
$108,834.00 - $163,252.00
