Job Title: Senior Client Executive

Join Corporate Banking, New York - as our new Senior Client Executive covering the Finnish LC&I Portfolio in North America. Be a part of setting the bar for sales growth, structure, knowledge sharing, use of data and focused business development / optimization.

We add value by creating great customer experiences through our relationship strategy and a deep understanding of our customer's businesses and the markets they operate in. As the Client Executive [CE], you will play a vital role in creating trustworthy and profitable partnerships with our customers.

What you'll be doing:
Our new CE will navigate with confidence between customer senior decision makers, our HQ stakeholders (Main Customer Responsible Units [MRUs] / Product Responsible Units [PRUs]) as well as the different NY branch stakeholders teams. S/he/x quickly becomes fluent in the essential work flow processes, products and systems essentials enabling s/he/x to create service excellence for the team's customer base.

You will become responsible for developing:
  • Profitable income growth of our important LC&I Finland customer portfolio in North America
  • Close relations w/ customer senior decision makers in our domestic market, as well as at customer's HQ
  • Close relations with our Finnish MCRUs and Team leaders for Sales coordination
  • Sales of our various credit products, Cash Management Products (w/PRU), markets products (w/ PRU), Broker Dealer products (w/ PRU), Deposits / MMLs and more
  • Pave the way for our Cash Management Advisors for them to upsell Cash Management products and services
  • Professional and thoughtful sales pitch materials
  • Diligent reviews of credit exposures and documentation to ensure strict adherence to allocated terms from HQ/MCRUs
  • Take part of developing our Client Associates
  • Standardized processes, CRM and OneNote use, as well as ensuring high standards and quality of production of the team

So, you are probably well structured, strong communicator, pays attention to detail, proven record of driving sales, eager for continuous learning, not afraid to ask, gets the job done (!) and strives to constantly lead the way and seek to come up with ways to optimize and provide value to our customers - for the further benefit of the team, the team's stakeholders and the bank.

Expect significant customer interactions, virtual and in-person. Be prepared for the expectation of not only coming up with good ideas - but as well seeing things through to execution "hands-on".

The role is based on-site in New York City.

Your experience and background:
  • 5+ years of relevant banking experience or equivalent
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in Finnish. Strong English skills both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field

Further Information

Corporate Banking New York, consists of approximately 20 FTEs across three teams; Relationship Management, TxB and Customer Solutions. We are collectively responsible for the banks strategy execution toward our Nordics Large Corporates (LC&I & Business Banking) operating in North America.

Please note:
This position will be based on-site in New York City and will be subject to local hiring terms and conditions. To be considered for the role, the candidate must be eligible to work in the US either directly or via a visa-sponsorship - provided by the bank.

Salary Range:

USD $180,000 - $280,000.
