This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to lead complex projects from inception through completion while ensuring seamless integration and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering mission-critical solutions by managing all phases of system design, integration, and post-sales engineering support. This is a customer-facing role requiring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including system design, documentation, equipment integration, testing, installation, and commissioning.

  • Conduct on-site customer meetings, site audits, and technical evaluations to align solutions with customer needs.

  • Ensure technical compliance and resolve any engineering challenges, maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation packages, including equipment lists, block diagrams, wiring details, and system drawings.

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

  • Identify process improvements to enhance project delivery, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist with RFP responses and project proposals, contributing to business growth.

  • Champion ISO 9001 standards and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Promote Lifecycle Support Services and generate additional billable customer support.

  • Support field services as needed, including remote and on-site troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or networking as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer.

  • Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot microwave backhaul systems and IP networking solutions.

  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SNMP, IS-IS, PTP) and network technologies (MPLS, WAN).

  • Proficiency in Pathloss software for microwave system design.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication skills to interface confidently with customers and internal teams.

  • Networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly desirable.
