SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

We're looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed marketing leader to build and scale our Executive Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program from the ground up. This role is pivotal in driving deep engagement with C-level customers, aligning on Pure's strategic direction, and elevating customer voices into boardroom-level influence. You'll be responsible for designing the CAB program's vision and structure, identifying and recruiting the right executive members, and flawlessly executing experiences that create strategic value - for our customers and for Pure Storage. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Own the Global CAB Strategy: Build a scalable, best-in-class executive advisory board framework aligned with Pure's business priorities and executive stakeholders.
  • Executive Engagement: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and the C-suite to identify, recruit, and nurture strategic customer relationships across regions and verticals.
  • Program Management: Own all aspects of CAB planning and execution, including agenda development, speaker coaching, content creation, logistics, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Customer Insights & Influence: Capture and synthesize strategic insights shared by CAB members and ensure clear feedback loops back into Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Experience-First Mindset: Deliver white-glove, high-touch experiences for our executive customers - from meeting environments to personalized touchpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Customer Success, and the Office of the CTO to drive participation and impact.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Define KPIs and success metrics for CABs, regularly report on program health, and evolve the strategy based on data and feedback.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
  • 7+ years in customer marketing, executive programs, or B2B customer engagement roles - ideally in enterprise technology
  • Proven experience designing and scaling executive CABs or high-touch customer programs
  • Exceptional executive presence and ability to engage with C-level audiences
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and attention to detail
  • Experience with customer advocacy platforms, virtual event tools, and CRM systems a plus


We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, California and Raleigh, North Carolina, United States office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: California $176,000 - $265,000 & North Carolina $141,000 - $212,000

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
