ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Business Unit Finance to lead and oversee all financial activities for the ASC and Reliable Business Units, encompassing both Commercial Finance and Operations Finance. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and profitability. How You Will Help:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the financial strategy for the business unit, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to drive long-term growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Commercial Finance
- Oversee all aspects of commercial finance, including sales forecasts & planning, customer & product analysis, and sales & margin analysis.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support deal structuring, contract negotiations, and customer profitability analysis.
- Monitor market trends, customer dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform business decisions.
Operations Finance
- Lead operations finance activities, including supply chain and manufacturing cost analysis, inventory management, and capital expenditure planning.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to optimize production processes and manage cost drivers effectively.
- Provide insights into operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the business units.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and actionable insights.
- Develop and present financial models and dashboards to support decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring succession planning and professional growth.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve business unit objectives.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and processes.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a focus on both commercial and operational finance.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and influencing strategic decisions in a complex business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in industrial / manufacturing industries.
