Day to Day task include:
- Participate in design review sessions regarding the program area, existing data sets, and applications.
- Modify and support applications as needed until they can be replaced with a modern web-based version.
- Day-to-day tasks include designing, coding, and testing new features to implement requirements.
- Document code-based business rules.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience with coding client-server relational database applications using PowerBuilder.
- 84 months of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, and other objects.
- 48 months of experience with writing complex SQL queries and reports; experience with data manipulation, data migration, creation of ETL scripts.
- 48 Months experience as a lead developer on complex projects.
- Full time role with engagement length of 6 months
- Daily work hours: Negotiable 8-hour day, with 12 hour lunch between 7AM - 6PM
- Physical office location: ESP Corning Tower, Flr D, Wadsworth Biggs Labs, Albany, NY, 12208
- Telecommuting options: Up to 50% - on site as needed, must be in commuting distance of Albany NY for remote work
