We are currently seeking a .Net Developer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for providing functional and technical expertise to projects and assignments pertaining to critical Business units in the organization. You will bring both engineering and IT perspective to the services and state of the art solutions provided by the department.

How you will make an impact:
- Planning, coordinating, and performing complex technical assignments related to software applications in support of the Day Ahead Market Admin, FTR/ARR Market Admin, Forecasting Office, and Markets Monitoring groups
- Analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, recommending solutions and implementing fixes associated with Market System applications
- 24 x7 support for Day Ahead and FTR Market applications as needed
- Assisting in the development of RFPs and evaluation of results
- Coordinating with consultants and vendors on project deliverables
- Lead IT Support activities for one or more business areas
- Follow the Change Management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and procedures during the course of the work
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of working experience as a .NET developer
- Strong understanding of the .NET framework, C#, and object-oriented programming
- Working experience with web development technologies, including ASP.NET, MVC, WPF, and REST API
- Working experience in Oracle, SQL, Postgres, PL/SQL development and Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a Team Lead
- Demonstrated experience dealing with challenging situations and communicating different problems to a wider audience
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Desired not required
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Hands on work experience with Kubernetes, DevOps, GitOps, Docker technologies and AWS
- Experience in Java and associated technologies such as J2EE/Web Technologies, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Apache Struts, Microsoft Web frameworks, XML, JMS, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Ant, Apache Camel etc.
- Programming experience in Electric Utility Industry or Power System Markets
