Responsibilities:
As the Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating a centralized testing strategy to ensure the quality and reliability of Acrisure's enterprise applications. This includes leading the design, planning, and execution of manual and automated testing processes for finance systems in Workday, Applied Epic, and others. This role will require strong expertise in test automation, test strategy, and execution, with a focus on finance system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
This position requires technical expertise, particularly within multi-tenant Workday configuration, and a collaborative mindset to work across teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and to develop test plans and strategies
- Define and implement a centralized testing strategy for enterprise finance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system requirements
- Lead test planning activities, including identifying key testing milestones, resource needs, and testing priorities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive test framework, including test scenarios, test cases, and test data, to support various types of testing, such as functional, regression, and integration testing
- Plan and design test automation strategies by leveraging tools and technologies to create scalable and maintainable solutions
- Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage and accurate issue reporting
- Execute test cases, report issues, and track issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously improve and optimize test processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations
- Monitor and report on testing progress, test coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality assurance outcomes.
- Ensure testing processes align with Workday updates and best practices, leveraging expertise in Workday functionality and configuration
- Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices, ensuring the testing process aligns with the latest features and capabilities
- Provide leadership in identifying and implementing innovative testing solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of enterprise experience in test automation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday, with a strong foundation of functionality and configuration
- Experience in enterprise testing, with a focus on finance systems testing
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
- Experience in testing strategy, planning, and execution, including risk analysis and impact analysis
- Experience in selecting and integrating appropriate tools and frameworks to support automated testing, ensuring efficiency and reliability in the testing process
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management software or collaboration platforms, such as SharePoint, MS Teams, Monday, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kainos tools and methodologies
- Experience in the insurance industry or with software such as Applied Epic agency management software
- 2+ years of experience with Agile practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
