The Controls Project Manager is a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated controls projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Location: Onsite at the Birmingham Service Office with travel to jobsites and engaging with customers

What you will do:

• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters
• Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Coordinates project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction, along with maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-4+ years of controls project management experience
• Commercial HVAC controls experience
• Niagara N4 certification preferred
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,600 - $126,500 plus a 10% bonus in Alabama. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
