As the Chief People Officer, you are a vital member of HRG's executive team, will lead a comprehensive human resources function to attract, develop, engage, and retain top-tier talent while fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment. The CPO will drive sustainable growth through effective people strategies that align with HRG's business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop talent acquisition and management strategies to support the growth of the company that aligns with the overall vision and strategic goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
- Budget Management: Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and provides guidance as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the AEC industry (prior experience in M&A integration preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- HRM or HRCI certification is preferred
- Ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization, business partners, and external stakeholders virtually, by telephone, or in-person
- Effective organization, planning, time management, attention to detail, analytical, critical, and conceptual thinking skills
- Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, etc.
- This position requires daily/overnight travel (on average 20-50% of the time) by car, train, and/or air as appropriate
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
