- Location: Lenexa, KS
- Schedule: Full-Time | Days
- Salary: Up to $110,000/year (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (2-year commitment)

We are seeking a Microbiology Manager to oversee daily operations at a central laboratory serving a major healthcare division. - Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-throughput microbiology lab
- Lead technical and non-technical teams in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards
- Monitor department resources including payroll, supply costs, and volume trends
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other applicable regulatory agencies
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members
- Partner with divisional leadership to drive performance, quality, and efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate across facilities and manage some travel within the division
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification: National certification (ASCP or AMT required)
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in microbiology
- Prior leadership experience in a central or high-volume bacteriology laboratory required
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills
- Lead a critical central lab operation that supports a multi-facility healthcare network
