The RMS IWSS Global Sustainment Team is in search of a "hands-on" working level associate manager to help balance the functional support needs within our organization. The selected candidate will be the Associate Manager responsible for leading a diverse project team, participating in all project engineering functions for the life cycle sustainment of RMS products. This position will oversee the distribution, allocation, end of life, end of service parts and maintain an accurate account of deliverable products. Functional roles & responsibilities include supervising staff assigned to the Virginia Beach Field Repair Facility by providing direction of daily operations using established policies, procedures & guides, coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection & training; performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. As part of the IWSS RMS leadership team, this person will assist management with organizational planning, 1LMX initiatives, employee engagement & retention, and organizational development as required; interact with key stakeholders across RMS including Program Management, Program Integration Leads, and Product Engineering Teams. This position reports directly to the RMS IWSS Field Service & Virginia Beach Site Manager supporting a wide range of RMS programs.

Basic Qualifications

1. Demonstrated full spectrum leadership ability including the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities, strong writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships (both internal to LM and with external customers).

2. A strong working knowledge and complete understanding of the application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards associated with product sustainment, including Integrated Logistics and Engineering principles for determining bid/no-bid decisions for product repair-and-return efforts and fulfillment of product spares.

3. Must be comfortable working with all the Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desired skills

1. Experience in the upgrade, sustainment, and maintenance of complex electronic systems including military launching & radar systems, and naval combat systems in the field and/or land based customer facilitates.

2. Experience being a part of a high performing team including the ability to take direction, provide direction.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
