This position is responsible for the operational execution and evaluation of laboratory and imaging services that ensures all safety and quality standards system-wide. Develops and articulates a strategic vision for significant segment(s) of the network. Facilitates and influences development of individual, group, and organizational goals and processes. Leads and enables effective coordination and communication between Community Health Network and the laboratory and imaging vendors. Works on complex matters where analysis of issues, data, processes and situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and in-depth industry and technical knowledge. Exceptional S kills and Qualifications

  • 4 year / bachelor's degree B usiness, Imaging, Operations, Nursing OR related field. If my degree is in Nursing, I must be from a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing. (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Certifications /Licensures: License per discipline, if Nursing, license required in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) (Required)
  • 3+ years: Progressive management/leadership ideally gained in a multi-hospital health system leading growth initiative and strategy. (Required)
  • 7+ years: Healthcare related experience. (Required)
  • Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develops the strategy, structure, and oversight of the Network Laboratory and Medical Imaging services, including acute care, ambulatory, and retail, further increasing the value of these services to the Network. Execute objectives and initiatives to optimize workflows, throughput, and capacity management. Provide strategic and operational leadership to drive innovation, planning, growth, quality, and standardization. Serve as the top leader for laboratory and imaging services across the health system. Collaborate with senior leadership on growth and innovation strategies for assigned areas. Identify and drive key growth and revenue opportunities for service usage. Assess and develop strategies for testing capacity management including equipment usage across the network.
  • Process Improvement and Quality Assurance: Serves as a Change Agent to define and consistently improve processes and service standards, working with key physician, nurse, and leadership stakeholders to garner support and buy in. Coordinate access to and use of technology amongst all stakeholders to ensure optimal communication and information transfer, eliminating unnecessary delays. Assure that all performance measures, clinical guidelines, protocols, and patient management tools are based on all of the most recent available evidence. Ensure all documentation is thorough and timely and meets regulatory requirements. Develop, organize, and monitor the activities of the laboratory and medical imaging services for the network to include data collection and analysis for quality reporting. Establish & monitor service & quality standards in accordance with the expectations of our patients, referring physicians, and the market. Oversee testing operations, tactical planning and daily on-site operational issues. Work collaboratively with both acute, ambulatory, and network leadership to resolve patient care issues related to lab and imaging services. Oversee CLIA compliance in conjunction with Network CLIA operators, medical directors, and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all federal/state regulations and standards
  • Financial and Contract Management: Ensures processes for securing maximum reimbursement for services while identifying and implementing the appropriate strategies for reducing costs and improving the quality of services. Manage contracts and relationships with laboratory, imaging and/or radiology groups. Lead assessment and adoption of new technologies and manage capital planning for laboratory and imaging services across the network. Utilize advanced analytics to assist the respective leadership team in decision-making, budget development, and performance tracking
