Director of Business Development - Security Services
Blue Chip Pros is a domestic security, janitorial and facility care company dedicated to the highest standards of quality and integrity. The company was founded in 1986 and has proudly grown to employ several thousand employees and currently operates in 50 states. We are seeking a professional Director of Business Development with security experience to help grow our security services division.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Be part of a growing sales team tasked with building our security division with flexibility to cross sell all service lines.
- Position is primarily remote working if not traveling for business development or client relations.
- Create new client relationships, build on existing relationships, collaborate with other departments.
- Manage all aspects of sales effort for Security Services.
- Schedule meetings with potential clients via networking, BD platforms, emails, cold calls, or advertisement.
- Work with marketing team for targeted growth
- Be willing to travel for meetings and sales appointments as needed.
- Able to complete basic security assessments and offer creative solutions to prospective clients.
- Tour/walk facilities and buildings as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience in a regional sales position with a security company based in NY or OH or 3 years' experience in a physical security management position overseeing a minimum of 3 million in yearly gross revenue.
- Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field preferred
- Live in the States of NY / NJ / CT / OH preferred.
Skills Required:
- Computer knowledge to include proficiency in Microsoft programs (Teams, word, excel, power-point, windows) and internet research.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and desire to succeed and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to run a sales cycle from start to finish.
- Ability to complete detailed RFPs, bid documents and price sheets as needed.
- Contribute effectively to a team, work collaboratively with all departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to work remote / autonomously.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Present to clients virtually and face to face as needed.
Benefits:
- Full time Salary to be commiserate with background and work experience.
- Base Salary Range of $85,000 to $115,000 per year, plus commission.
