Must be able to lift and carry files, books and reports weighing up to 20 lbs. Must be able to perform filing, desk work and operate general office equipment. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged or intermittent periods of time while sharing, gathering or presenting information to other staff members or external parties. Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer / CFO
- You will provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of SC Housing's financial operations.
- You will ensure the financial integrity and soundness of the agency through proper oversight of accounting ledgers and reporting, housing debt, cash and investments, budgetary, compliance and other financial matters.
- You will manage the bonds and investments of agency funds in a fiscally prudent, responsible manner.
- You will maximize return on invested funds by identifying responsible investment opportunities while maintaining relationships with the investment community.
- You will serve as the primary liaison with the State Treasurer, financial advisor, financial and investment communities.
- You will develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities and maintain the continuity of the agency's Aaa rating.
- You will develop strategies for managing risk of financial operations in each department.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- MBA or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field of study.
- Twelve (12) years of progressive management experience in finance and investments in a financial environment with demonstrated knowledge of tax-exempt bond issues, financial analysis and reporting, investments, and arbitrage.
- Eight (8) years of supervisory and managerial experience which may be concurrent with professional experience.

- Financial services background preferably in the banking/mortgage industry with experience as a senior finance officer.
