Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java (8 & 17), Spring Boot, and Code understanding & analyzing knowledge on EJB.
Develop and expose RESTful & SOAP web services using Open Liberty.
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift using containerized environments.
Ensure high code quality by implementing JUnit test cases, achieving strong SonarQube code coverage, and following best security vulnerability fixes.
Use Swagger for API documentation and ensure API compliance.
Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Work on security best practices, including fixing vulnerabilities in dependencies and application code.
Utilize GitHub Copilot (or similar AI-assisted tools) to improve development speed and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Client Application team to ensure smooth application deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in production environments.
