Direct Counsel is seeking a Healthcare Associate - Midlevel to join a prestigious law firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled healthcare attorney to join a dynamic team with locations across the West Coast, including Bellevue, Culver City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in health law, with a focus on areas such as healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, medical staff issues, healthcare contracting, HIPAA, and telemedicine. The role requires strong legal writing, contract drafting, and oral communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $225,000 to $350,000 and in California is $225,000 to $350,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel on a range of healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
- Assist clients with healthcare contracting, fraud and abuse issues, reimbursement, and medical staff concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on developments in health law, particularly regarding telemedicine and HIPAA regulations.
- Draft and review contracts and legal documents related to healthcare issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address legal challenges.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused working environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing healthcare law.
- Strong background in healthcare regulatory compliance, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, medical staff matters, or related fields.
- Excellent legal writing, drafting, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and interact effectively with clients.
