Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Program Management for Product Development to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of product development initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and has a proven track record of driving product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality products on time and within budget. The Director will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery of product development projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development and execution of product development programs from concept through to launch, ensuring they align with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and other teams to define and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Drive program prioritization, resource planning, and scheduling, managing trade-offs between scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing program management team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and problem-solving.
  • Conduct performance reviews, offer professional development opportunities, and ensure team members have the tools and support they need to succeed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for senior leadership, ensuring transparency, effective communication, and alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, tailoring messages to the audience.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and make data-driven decisions to navigate challenges.
  • Oversee the delivery of product development projects within scope, on time, and within budget, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to program success, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
  • Track progress against program milestones, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management practices, including the adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product development programs.
  • Regularly report on program health, status, and metrics to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within a consumer product development based environment.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports, including performance evaluation and development.
  • Strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a dynamic portfolio of projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and applicable project management software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in end stage manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
