By leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our engineering capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize engineering processes, including product design, process development, equipment optimization, and production scalability
- Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and professional growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to identify engineering needs and deliver effective solutions
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other continuous improvement tools
- Analyze production data, including yield, cycle times, and quality metrics, to identify areas for optimization and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and optimize production workflows, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, reduction of waste, and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Manage engineering projects, including project scoping, timeline management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer new products and technologies into manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration and efficient scale-up
- Drive the implementation and utilization of engineering software tools and systems to enhance productivity and data-driven decision-making
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering and process optimization, recommending and implementing advancements to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Engineering Process Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process optimization methodologies, and project management
- Proficiency in utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies for process improvement
- Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including product design, assembly, machining, or fabrication
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols

WORK ENVIRONMENT
