OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for an Engineering Process Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the engineering processes within our manufacturing operations. Your expertise in process engineering, project management, and continuous improvement will enable you to streamline production workflows, drive operational excellence, and deliver high-quality products. By leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our engineering capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and optimize engineering processes, including product design, process development, equipment optimization, and production scalability
• Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to identify engineering needs and deliver effective solutions
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other continuous improvement tools
• Analyze production data, including yield, cycle times, and quality metrics, to identify areas for optimization and implement corrective actions
• Monitor and optimize production workflows, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, reduction of waste, and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Manage engineering projects, including project scoping, timeline management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
• Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer new products and technologies into manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration and efficient scale-up
• Drive the implementation and utilization of engineering software tools and systems to enhance productivity and data-driven decision-making
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering and process optimization, recommending and implementing advancements to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an Engineering Process Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process optimization methodologies, and project management
• Proficiency in utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies for process improvement
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including product design, assembly, machining, or fabrication
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
