Position Overview - A member of the Executive Team who is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function, including staffing, teacher licensure, employee relations, workers compensation, staff leave performance management, and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Additional duties include supervision of the Director of Support Services, which includes school safety, transportation, athletics, Title IX, policies, school nurses and social workers. Along with the Director of Communication and Talent Development, which includes Beginning Teacher support, teacher recruitment, national board certification, and all district PR, social media and communication efforts.
Successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead, communicate effectively and build strong relationships. Ability to resolve issues and conflicts, analyze data and trends to make informed decisions, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to learn and use multiple computer platforms to complete job duties required. Position collaborates closely with the finance team, and serves on the BOE Policy Committee. Reports directly to the Superintendent.
