Are you passionate about using data to drive organizational effectiveness and talent optimization? Join Amazon's Measurement & Insights (M&I) team as a Senior Business Analyst, where you'll help shape the future of talent management across Amazon Stores through data-driven solutions and strategic analytics.
As part of the Worldwide Amazon Stores Talent Management function, you'll work on complex challenges across talent program effectiveness, organizational design, and talent advancement. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement measurement frameworks, conduct sophisticated analyses, and deliver actionable insights that inform critical talent decisions and strategies.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from problem definition to strategic recommendations
- Develop and implement measurement frameworks for evaluating talent processes
- Design novel organizational metrics and guidelines tailored to specific business contexts
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and elevate the team's analytical capabilities
- Communicate complex analyses through compelling narratives and visualizations
About the team
The Measurement & Insights team is a multi-disciplinary group within Amazon Stores Talent Management. We're passionate about using data to drive better talent decisions and outcomes. Our mission is to foster a data-driven culture across Stores PXT by developing scientific solutions, delivering actionable insights, and designing strategic metrics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in business or analytical discipline
- Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
