What you'll do
Thisindividual will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizinglogistics processes and systems to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs,and enhance the overall supply chain experience. The ideal candidate will havedeep knowledge in logistics process design, process improvement methodologies,and proficiency in systems such as ERP, TMS, and WMS.
The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

What you'll do
Thisindividual will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizinglogistics processes and systems to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs,and enhance the overall supply chain experience. The ideal candidate will havedeep knowledge in logistics process design, process improvement methodologies,and proficiency in systems such as ERP, TMS, and WMS.
- Logistics Process Analysis & Improvement:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing logistics processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies to optimize logistics processes, focusing on transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that reduce lead times, enhance service levels, and improve cost-effectiveness.
- System Optimization & Integration:
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing logistics systems (ERP, TMS, WMS) for better integration, functionality, and scalability.
- Work closely with IT and system vendors to implement system upgrades, patches, and new features that support logistics operations.
- Ensure that logistics systems are fully aligned with other business systems (finance, production, procurement) to enable seamless data flow and decision-making.
- Process Automation:
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation within logistics processes to reduce manual intervention, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency.
- Evaluate and deploy technologies such as robotics, AI, and IoT where applicable to further optimize logistics operations.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Develop and implement KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the performance of logistics processes and systems.
- Analyze performance data and provide regular reports to leadership, recommending actionable steps for further improvement.
- Create and monitor dashboards for real-time visibility into logistics operations.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Provide training to team members and other stakeholders on new systems, processes, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the logistics team.
- Change Management:
- Act as a change agent within the organization, helping stakeholders understand and embrace new logistics processes, systems, and tools.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during process/system changes.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and related tools.
- In-depth understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar frameworks.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines and budgets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex logistics challenges and implement actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in managing logistics systems upgrades or implementations.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and robotics in logistics.
- Knowledge of global logistics practices and regulations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to think strategically while also focusing on tactical execution.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree required.
