As a Senior Business Systems Analyst with Capital Markets, you will make an impact by contributing your expertise in Capital Markets and data analytics to craft innovative business solutions. You will analyze intricate datasets using SQL and manage the full lifecycle of requirements for large enterprise projects. As a valued member of our Data and Analytics (AIA) practice, you will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager in AIA to deliver impactful results in the banking and financial services industry.

In this role, you will:
  • You will engage and partner with technology teams across Capital Markets to 1 ) deeply understand their business needs , use - cases , datasets , and analytical requirements , 2 ) assess product - fit and 3 ) facilitate the smooth adoption of the Aperture platform.
  • Engage and partner with the Applications Team moving onto the Aperture platform to understand their analytical use cases/business goals and confirm product fit.
  • Coordinate with customers and team members to capture, analyze, and prioritize business requirements for enterprise-level projects in Financial Services and Capital Markets.
  • Transform business needs into actionable insights by querying and analyzing data from telemetry and data quality stores using dynamic SQL queries.
  • Facilitate information gathering sessions including leading discussions, managing group dynamics, and maintaining group focus to work towards accomplishing the stated goals within the context of project objectives.
  • Own the requirements planning and prioritization efforts, including customer analysis and effort estimation.
  • Partner with the platform engineering teams to ensure technical capabilities and data requirements are well understood, identify dependencies and integration points.
  • Work with senior customers to validate their requirements and analysis via techniques, such as reviews and walkthroughs.


What you'll need to succeed (required skills):
  • Strong business domain understanding of Financial Services/Capital Markets, excellent data analysis and solid background with complex software products (preferably cloud/data analytics focused)
  • 8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects.
  • Expert SQL skills to extract and analyze data for actionable insights
  • Demonstrable experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and / or Agile.
  • Data Analysis experience (eg. using SQL, Tableau, Python).


What will help you stand out (preferred skills):
  • Masters Certificate or equivalent experience in Business Analysis
  • CBAP, PMP (PMI), CSM or CSPO Certifications.
  • Experience working with Capital Markets division of a multi national bank or a Consulting company focusing on similar clients.
