Required Skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree, Preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT Support
- Knowledge and hands on experience with computer and network security implementations
- Knowledge of server administration, maintenance, and user account management
- Knowledge and hands on experience with build and maintaining Windows Server, and virtualization technologies
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, python, etc.
- Knowledge and hands on experience with basic networking and VPN technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, determine course of action and act promptly and effectively when problems arise
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimum supervision
- Ability to execute multiple tasks in an independent manner
Desired Skills
- Experience with Agency IT system accreditation, compliance and security controls
- Experience building, configuring, updating, and maintaining both sensitive and isolated LAN and desktop systems
- Experience with Linux 05, Cisco IOS
- Enterprise database platforms such as MSSQL and OracleDB
- Knowledge with SIEM and security analytical technologies (e.g. Splunk, pcap, Netflow, etc)
- Hands on experience with and advanced knowledge of networking, routing, switching, subnetting, firewalls, VLANs, ports and protocols
