The Medicine Institute at The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking a Division Chief to oversee its Division of Endocrinology. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations that inspire trust, collegial dialogue and collaboration in planning and problem solving. Division of Endocrinology Highlights:
- Large practice of Board Certified Endocrinologists and dedicated APP's
- Certified Diabetes Educators on-site
- Diabetes Chronic Care Specialty Team - Nurse Navigator, Pharm D, Registered Dietician, Behavioral Health Specialist and Social Services
- Multispecialty Pituitary Center in conjunction with Neurosurgery
- Monthly Thyroid Tumor Board
- GME Fellowship with 4 fellows
- Research opportunities:
- Clinical Trials, Quality Improvement, Outcomes and Cost Effectiveness Research with access to Health Plan claims data
- Access to the Medicine Institute Bridge Patient Registry: clinical informatics and biobanking capabilities.
- Access to a large team of research coordinators, regulatory and biostatistical support.
Job Qualifications:
- Mastery in the field of endocrinology
- 5+ years leadership experience preferred
- PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Completion of accredited fellowship in Endocrinology
- Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
