Job Description

  • Responsibility for managing direct and indirect sales within a given geographical area with the objective of achieving area targets.
  • Supports Sales Management in defining sales policies and actions for the development of the target market.
  • Carries out the drafting of the sales budget for the area of responsibility, coordinating with the Sales Director.
  • Performs analysis of the target market and competitors, evaluating commercial initiatives to increase sales and margins.
  • Directly manages the area of responsibility ensuring the achievement of sales and margin targets, implementing necessary corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with current customers, constantly monitoring their satisfaction, including periodic visits.
  • Researches new customers by exploiting any channel, implementing promotional and incentive actions.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of the status of turnover and collections, as well as the progress of business initiatives in the assigned area.
  • Monitors critical customer solvency situations, defining overdraft up to assigned ceilings.
  • Researches and develops new dealers in assigned area.
  • Supports Sales Director in range planning, noting product development/modification needs in assigned area.
  • Defines and verifies pricing policies in assigned area.
  • Manages participation in trade shows in the relevant area of our products.
  • Writes post-mission reports by forwarding them to corporate management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, management, mechanical) or technical diploma.
  • Prior experience of at least 2 years in the position in the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracting and usual international forms of payment appreciated.
  • Proficiency of the Office package.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze context and problem solving
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the relevant territory.
  • Resident of the United States
