As a General Surgery Physician at GLI, you will be responsible for conducting preoperative consultations, performing a wide range of surgical procedures, and overseeing postoperative care to ensure optimal recovery for your patients. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is vital to the delivery of high-quality healthcare, and your contributions will be essential in promoting positive patient outcomes.

This would include afterhours on-call coverage - 10 days per month/16 hrs per day and 17 weekends per year/48 hrs per weekend)..

- Execute a variety of surgical procedures with precision and care, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care plans for surgical patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient care and surgical outcomes.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in General Surgery.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
