Position Snapshot
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires an individual with an expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and data lakes built on Snowflake. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling, visualization, and reporting, with proficiency in SQL and BI tools. This position reports to the Chief Product Officer.

Position Snapshot
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires an individual with an expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and data lakes built on Snowflake. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling, visualization, and reporting, with proficiency in SQL and BI tools. This position reports to the Chief Product Officer.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets stored in Snowflake (or similar) and other data sources to support business objectives
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define data models and metrics as part of the structured and unstructured data solution
- Optimize SQL queries and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the data lake
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive data-driven decision-making
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Automate data processes, report generation, and ETL workflows where necessary
- Maintain documentation for BI reports, data pipelines, and dashboards
- Help maintain and supervise BI dashboards and reports in Power BI
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Understanding of data lake architectures and best practices for data storage, retrieval, and processing
- Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline management
- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets across multiple sources
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field
