A distinguished leader in the industrial oven manufacturing sector with over four decades of expertise is actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their operations in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing industrial ovens and systems that align with engineering norms, relevant codes, and client needs, while considering budget limitations.
- Analyzing client requirements and sales contracts to inform design decisions.
- Collaborating with clients and suppliers on equipment design details.
- Ensuring designs comply with regulatory standards and internal criteria for quality and manufacturability.
- Maintaining and updating design layouts in digital systems.
- Innovating on standard product designs to enhance quality and efficiency, and to cut costs.
- Selecting and evaluating components and parts for product assembly.
- Handling initial order processes.
- Building collaborative relationships with the Electrical Engineering team and other departments to solve problems and address issues.
- Serving as a technical consultant for sales teams, service technicians, Quality Assurance staff, and customer support.
- Joining multidisciplinary teams to solve manufacturing, design, and quality challenges, promoting ongoing process and method improvements.
- Keeping abreast of industry developments and new components or techniques to enhance product designs.
- Occasionally visiting client sites as needed.
- Adhering to all organizational cleanliness, quality, and safety guidelines.
- Undertaking and completing special projects as assigned.
- Travel requirement: Up to 25%

Job Requirements

Key Requirements:

- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and experienced in Lean Manufacturing.
- Language Skills: Capable of comprehending and interpreting technical documents, professional literature, and blueprints. Skilled in writing reports and documentation. Effective communication with vendors, clients, and colleagues.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in applying mathematical concepts like probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Skilled in resolving practical problems and interpreting various written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
- Additional Skills: Creative, motivated, and highly organized. Team-oriented with a positive demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications.
