Role Description:

Administer and manage job schedules, workflows, and dependencies within the CAWA platform.

Ensure the scheduling and execution of recurring batch jobs, tasks, and processes are done reliably and on time.

Design and implement automated workflows, including defining job chains, sequences, and dependencies.

Troubleshoot and resolve workflow failures, ensuring that all jobs complete successfully.

Integrate CAWA with various systems and applications to automate business processes across different platforms (e.g., mainframes, Windows, Linux, and cloud-based systems).

Monitor scheduled jobs and workflows to ensure they run as expected and intervene in case of failures or delays.

Analyze and provide solutions to resolve any errors or issues related to job scheduling or automation.

Collaborate with other teams (e.g., application support, IT operations) to address and resolve issues.

Create and maintain technical documentation on job schedules, workflows, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skill Set

Experience with CA Workload Automation (CAWA) or similar workload automation tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M, Tidal).

Experience in job scheduling, automation, and process management in a multi-platform environment.

Familiarity with system integrations and automating workflows across diverse operating systems (e.g., UNIX, Linux, Windows, Mainframe).

Proficiency in scripting languages - Shell, Python, or PowerShell for creating automation scripts.

Strong understanding of workload automation concepts, including job dependencies, triggers, and error handling.

Experience in using s reporting tools to create and analyze job performance reports.

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with job schedules, workflows, and dependencies.
