Job Summary

The Quality Systems Manager will oversee the activity of the document management system, including developing, implementing, and maintaining the tools utilized by the Organization's Integrated Management System.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develops, implements and manages processes to ensure adherence to the Organization's, and its subsidiaries', Integrated Management Systems.
  • Support the Organization, and its subsidiaries, in meeting internal and external stakeholders' expectations and requirements related to the Integrated Management System.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate document management and record retention standards and parameters to ensure document and record integrity, quality and version control.
  • Communicates document system, and related, standards and parameters to internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Coordinates document system training and utilization processes, and coach's end-users to successful utilization of applicable systems.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or field related to the products or services delivered required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial settings at times.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Travel expectation, up to 20% of time.

Work Experience

  • Five years of experience in a related field required; ISO Certifications preferred.

Quality:
  • Take responsibility for the sustainability of Axens and ensuring quality performance
  • Report any and all quality related issues or non-conformities to your manager
  • Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies for quality management
  • Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
  • Assist in achieving Site, Department, Regional and Global Quality Management Program goals and objectives.

Health and Safety:
  • Take responsibility for the health and safety of self and others
  • Report any and all health and safety incidents to your manager
  • Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies and objectives regarding health and safety
  • Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018
  • Assist in achieving Site, Departmental, Regional and Global Health and Safety goals and objectives

Environmental:
  • Take responsibility for the sustainability of Axens and protecting the environment
  • Report any and all environmental concerns or incidents to your manager
  • Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies regarding environmental protection
  • Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015
  • Assist in achieving Site, Departmental, Regional and Global Environmental Management Program goals and objectives
