Description:
Manages the Enterprise Training Department with a focus on the Design and Development team which includes the LMS team. Manages projects & initiatives in accordance to meet and exceed the enterprise strategic plan and all strategic priorities. Works closely with the entire Training department to ensure that enterprise training needs are met and the training programs developed by the D&D team are relevant and consistent across the enterprise. Responsible for partnering with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to deploy and launch all learning programs. Oversees all aspects of the design and development of enterprise training materials including the creation, review, approval of any training material offered. Works with all enterprise projects and initiatives to ensure that curriculum developed complies with SSFCU policy and procedure and aligns with strategic priorities. Actively participates in vendor evaluations and maintains those relationships as needed. Evaluates new technology and training solutions on a routine basis, providing proposals to direct manager as required. Ensures the Design and Development Team Members are performing at optimum levels by providing coaching, counseling, appropriate scheduling, and training. Consistently observes Enterprise Training facilitators to ensure that training material is relevant and consistent as well as provides feedback to facilitators for further skill development. Promotes a positive work environment that stimulates productivity. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose and abide by our Enterprise's Values.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience. Instructional Designer Certification or equivalent. Minimum of six (6) years of various training techniques / on-the-job training experience at a financial institution or comparable experience. Minimum of three (3) years supervising a sales or training team. Excellent verbal presentation, written and interpersonal skills. Must be professional in performance and appearance; and be enthusiastic about credit union training, products, and services. Use creative technique in training preparation and presentation. Expert knowledge of the LMS, SnagIt, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Articulate, Storyline, Audacity/Sound Forge, Photo Impact / Photoshop CC, Captivate, Microsoft Movie Maker, SharePoint, Microsoft word, & PDF. Able to incorporate all phases of the ADDIE model and adult learning theories in design. Able to function in a high-volume environment and within time constraints while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. High level of professionalism and confidentiality of sensitive information.
