Position Overview
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will ensure the integrity of financial information and help drive financial strategy to support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Implement and maintain ERP systems to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure proper valuation and reporting of inventory assets.
  • Monitor and manage sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, and provide variance analysis.
  • Support SEC reporting and compliance activities as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a Controller position.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with ERP implementation.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 standards.
  • Experience in inventory management and expense management practices.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
