The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and on-site work during day shifts, with no travel required. 3.Experience : 8to12Yrs 4.Required Skills : ,DB2 administration(system DBA) 5.Nice to have skills : 6.Technology : -Not Applicable 7.Shift : Day 8.Responsibilities : - Lead the design and architecture of DB2 database systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of database solutions to meet business requirements. - Provide technical expertise in DB2 administration, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. - Develop and implement database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and improve application performance. - Conduct regular database backups and recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures. - Perform capacity planning and database tuning to accommodate growth and changing business needs. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior database administrators and other team members. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in DB2 technology and database management practices. - Participate in on-call support rotation to address critical database issues outside of regular business hours.
