In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative data pipelines, collaborating with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter specialists to design and implement robust data solutions that drive business success. You'll be the go-to expert for translating business needs into efficient, optimized data systems that seamlessly flow from development to production.

As a key member of our team, you'll work on exciting projects, take ownership of data governance, and ensure that our data systems deliver high-quality insights to support mission-critical operations. Your contributions will shape the future of data management, and your expertise will directly influence the success of our organization's data-driven initiatives!

Responsibilities:
  • Innovate & Build: Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to support end-to-end solutions, ensuring seamless data flow for a wide range of use cases.
  • Collaborate & Lead: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter specialists to plan, design, and deliver optimal data solutions.
  • Ensure Data Excellence: Implement data governance practices to manage shared and master data sets, ensuring data integrity and quality at every stage.
  • Shape Architecture: Analyze, design, and implement systems solutions, creating efficient architectures for high-performance data management.
  • Support & Troubleshoot: Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and dataflows, ensuring reliability and high availability in production environments.
  • Guide Teams: Work with the data engineering team to develop and launch new features, coordinating efforts to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • TS-SCI clearance is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools (AWS Cloud, GovCloud, C2S).
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS) and cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with software platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS, Kafka, AWS Lambda, NiFi, Airflow, and more.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with datastores like MongoDB/DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, and Redis.
  • A solid foundation in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong background in Agile development and experience working with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to publish and present design reports to stakeholders.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and experience in collaborating to meet deadlines and project goals.

Nice to Haves:
  • A Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) environments and data architectures.
  • Experience with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and cloud services integration.
  • A passion for learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies to solve real-world challenges.
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming languages and DevOps environments.
  • Experience with digital certificates and public keys.

Salary Range: $120K - $170K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
