YOUR IMPACT
The Manager of Network Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our network infrastructure, including WAN technologies, data center, and cloud networking. This role requires a hands-on leader with at least 7-10 years of experience in network technologies, with additional experience in cloud-based network solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing priorities across the team, driving strategic network initiatives, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of all network services.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing network services team. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal service delivery and a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cloud architects and teams to design, implement, and maintain hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring seamless integration with on-premises environments.
Act as a point of escalation for complex network issues, troubleshooting and resolving critical incidents while minimizing downtime. Drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Guiding the team through the development, testing, and implementation stages and reviewing the completed work effectively
Providing direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration
Making quick decisions and solving technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation
Identifying resource and equipment requirements, and hardware availability.
Providing technical training to teams when required and serving as a technical mentor to team members
Tasking allocation and performance evaluation of team members
Making presentations on team status, presenting monthly and annual reports to senior management
Conducting performance reviews of team members and identifying areas of improvement, giving feedback and recommending for promotions or salary increments

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in managing cloud-based network infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and hybrid network environments.
Experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across various network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
Experience with network monitoring tools and performance management platforms.
7-10 years of experience in network engineering and management, with a focus on LAN/WAN, routing, switching, network security, and performance optimization.
Proficiency with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and related software.
Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, such as VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, and cloud load balancing.
Knowledge of network security protocols and practices (e.g., IPsec, SSL/TLS, firewalls, IDS/IPS) and familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a technical team.
