Position Overview:

The Project Manager establishes and directs projects that are of varying degrees of complexity spanning multiple functions and/or business groups/Lines of Business (LoBs). The Project Manager holds the primary project relationship with Sponsor, Business Owner and other stakeholders, and ensures that a successful business outcome is the prime measure of success.

The Project Manager can navigate multiple lines of business and can facilitate communication between multiple stakeholders efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager directs, manages, and coordinates team members, business and technology resources, internal and external stakeholders, and contractors, and is accountable for delivery of the end-to-end assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
Establishes the appropriate project organizational and work breakdown structures (e.g., projects, workstreams) to accomplish program outcomes.
Ensures project milestones and schedule accurately reflects delivery commitments.
Ensures an overall integrated delivery plan is developed, maintained, and communicated
Ensures projects are staffed with the required resources.
Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering assigned projects, including all business, operational and IT deliverables to achieve the intended business benefit.
Directly leads all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with line of business and technology partners to oversee all phases of the program.
Responsible for providing regular communications with stakeholders.
Provides leadership, motivation, coaching and mentoring for the project team
Chairs regular project and key forums (e.g., Steering Committees) to review progress with key team members and executives.
Provides change leadership to ensure the vision and objectives of the project are met, and ensures change management is in place to deliver the anticipated program benefits
Provides visibility to project level issues and risks and ensures they are identified, quantified, managed, tracked, and escalated.
Ensures project commitments are achieved within agreed on scope, time, cost, and quality parameters
Manages overall project budget, actuals, and forecast.
Ensures development of required project artifacts and compliance with applicable enterprise delivery framework standards.
Ensures the vendor management process is followed for the onboarding of vendors within the scope of the project.

Qualifications:
Possesses a university degree or equivalent
5+ years of experience in project management, including managing mid to large-scale projects
Holds a valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Specific Knowledge & Skills (not preferred or an asset)
Solves complex project issues which may require facilitation of multiple senior resources
Strong relationship management and builds trust of sponsors and key stakeholders (internal and external)
Ability to establish a positive team culture
Effective in executing and driving projects with limited information and ambiguity
Strong project management skills including multiple aspects of the PMBOK (i.e. Project Management Institute's PM Body Of Knowledge)
Solid stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of balancing multiple perspectives, effective at all levels up to senior executive. Effectively resolves conflict.
Sound business and technical acumen, with demonstrated agility in learning and ability to quickly become comfortable with unfamiliar business areas or of technologies.
Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Excellent knowledge and expertise in the use of project tools
